About us

Karukera & Friends is a non-profit association founded by young people in 2023 and based in Capesterre Belle-Eau, Guadeloupe. Our mission is to promote international solidarity, inclusion and good living together through concrete awareness-raising actions and international cooperation projects. We firmly believe that today’s youth is tomorrow’s society, and that’s why we’re committed to shaping a more just, supportive and intercultural future.

Through workshops, events and artistic projects, we work to eradicate prejudice and discrimination and promote the integration of people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. By focusing on the mental health and well-being of everyone, we aim to build a more tolerant, inclusive and united society.

We are working for a Guadeloupe and a world where every individual, whatever their origin, background or beliefs, can feel respected, valued and included. Through our creative and collaborative approach, we use art in all its forms to convey messages of peace, tolerance and solidarity.

Our action is based on a fundamental principle: the inclusion of our target audiences, whether they be young people seeking international mobility, people in vulnerable situations or communities eager to create links and mutual understanding.

We’re a dynamic team of passionate, committed young people who want to make a difference, locally, nationally and internationally. Join us in our adventure to build a more inclusive society, based on solidarity and respect for all diversities!
